If you are coming to the Bay Area, perhaps you do not know it very well?  You would like to find a home that is conveniently located to your work.  If you have children you would also like good schools, the best if possible.  However, you do have a budget.
After I find out your budget and where you are working, I then start to communicate to you about the type of home you want.  Yes, it must have a certain number of bedrooms and it should be at least a certain # of square feet, but this is only the bones of the house.  I will help you find the place you will want to call home.  A home that fits the idea that you have in the back of your mind and find it on the type of street that you would like it to be on.
I will send you by email, properties from as many neighborhoods as fit your criteria.  By email or phone we will discuss the different attributes.  By the time you come to see some homes we will have narrowed down a list of homes that you are interested in, a few from each area.
The first day we go out together we will drive through the different areas and I will show you what each area has to offer.  I will carefully listen to what you have to say about each home.  By the end of the day I will have a very exact idea of what you want.
By the second outing we should be able to find you just the right home.
When it is time to write an offer I will take the time to explain the California System of home buying to you.  We will go over all the details of the escrow procedure until you know exactly what to expect.
Occasionally my clients have to leave town during this process.  I have easily managed transactions with clients in China and the East coast.  By the use of email and overnight delivery everything can be handled as necessary.
