Our client, a free-standing division of billion-dollar, name-brand company is seeking an electrical engineer who will be their leading electrical engineer in their manufacturing engineering group (this group has 15 engineers, one of whom just completed his degree in electromechanical engineering; the others are all mechanical engineers).
The business has grown fourfold in the past 10 years, and continues to grow at a 20% rate, despite today’s stubborn economy.
This person should have strong electrical skills, including being able to troubleshoot to the board- and component-levels. He or she should also have had solid manufacturing experience, including having some systems to identify root cause to identify and prevent problems (Six-Sigma experience would be ideal).
Pretty Northern New England college town location, not far from Dartmouth College. Being home to a top college and medical school, the populace is well-educated and the area has numerous cultural, academic and major college sporting events. The area is also surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, and is close to skiing and endless outdoor opportunities.
The position will pay in the $80,000 to $120,000 range, plus a 7% bonus.
